Quality Assurance Shift manager

We’re looking for an experienced QA Shift Manager to join our Quality & Governance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills and a passion for quality to make a real impact and develop into a QA Manager role.

• Lead and manage a team of QA Officers, ensuring compounded and Specials licence products are released in compliance with GMP and QMS standards.
• Support and deputise for the QA Manager, including involvement in regulatory inspections.
• Drive people development through coaching, mentoring, and upskilling the team.
• Oversee investigations into non-conformances and implement CAPAs.
• Ensure readiness for internal audits and external regulatory inspections.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain compliance and continuous improvement.

• Experience: QA release of compounded products and Specials licence products; leadership experience in a shift manager role.
• Skills: Strong people management and coaching ability; confident in supporting and deputising for QA Manager.
• Knowledge: GMP, GDP, MHRA requirements; experience with regulatory inspections desirable.
• Qualifications: Degree in a science discipline (or equivalent); pharmaceutical industry experience essential.
