  • About The Role

  • The Head of Cancer Services is a national leadership role responsible for overseeing cancer services delivered both in the field and within healthcare centres. This role works in close collaboration with the senior nursing leadership team to drive continuous improvement and ensure service excellence.

    As the Head of Cancer Services, you will lead and manage the national cancer service offering for Lloyds Clinical, ensuring both operational and clinical excellence in alignment with the organisation’s strategic objectives.

  • About You

  • Key Accountabilities include, 
    • Leading and managing the clinical national cancer strategy and service delivery
    • Leading and managing performance and productivity across cancer services (field and healthcare centres) 
    • Leading and managing regulatory compliance across cancer services
    • Leading and driving a department where the performance and potential of people is maximised
    • Working in a strategic partnership with key stakeholders to optimise the nursing performance of the team

    The right Candidate will have the following experience,

    Active Registered Nurse (RN) with current NMC registration

    Experience of leading national teams, with specialist clinical expertise

    Experience of holding a Registered Manager status

    Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically and drive operational excellence

    Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance standards - Ability to translate strategic objectives into meaningful business plan - Proven track record of driving performance and productivity - Experience of driving clinical excellence and compliance adherence across large teams - Strong leadership abilities, with a track record of successfully leading and motivating teams - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence stakeholders - Experience in leading clinical projects to improve services and outcomes - Hold full UK valid driving license
