  • About The Role

  • An exciting opportunity has arisen at Lloyds Clinical as a result of internal growth.
     
    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Nursing to lead our nursing and clinical services teams. This pivotal role will provide strategic leadership, expert guidance on all matters related to nursing, and carry key corporate responsibilities, including serving as the Lead for Safeguarding. In addition, the successful candidate will play a vital role in advancing the organisation’s corporate objectives and will share responsibility for the delivery of the Board’s strategic agenda.
     
     Accountabilities in the role include 
    • Provide professional leadership and ensure appropriate professional standards are in place for Nursing, in accordance with The Code (NMC, 2018), whilst providing clinical leadership for all service provision.
    • Ensure appropriate development programmes and education and training opportunities are in place and available to all professional and non-professional staff.
    • Ensure that effective People strategies are in place for workforce development, recruitment and retention.
    • Ensure a culture of continuous improvement and operational efficiency is driven through the Nursing and Clinical Services teams; ensuring margins are optimized, budgets set, costs controlled and AOP delivered.
    • Define and deliver appropriate operational and quality KPIs.

  • About You

    • Registered nurse with post registration qualification to at least degree level
    • 3 years or equivalent as Head/Deputy in a large and complex organisation
    • Demonstrable strategic and analytical thinking and customer/patient focus
    • Significant experience and track record leading and implementing change in Nursing/Healthcare/Homecare, especially in a commercial environment.
    • Proven track record in driving operational delivery and excellence in a complex and challenging healthcare business environment
    • Extensive experience in building, developing and implementing simple and robust solutions to meet complex operational need, with the ability to meet deadlines and KPI targets
    Strong interpersonal skills, particularly the ability to grow, lead and motivate a large team and manage key
